With the recent talk of Disney trying to acquire the rights to the X-Men movie characters, there has been a lot of confusion about what is going to happen with the future of the characters. One thing we do know for sure though, is the fact that we are getting another new X-Men movie coming to the big screen in the very near future, with the release of the upcoming movie X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

There has been a lot of talk about which characters we are going to see returning and which new characters we are going to see joining and it has now been confirmed that there is one character who will not be back. Actress Rose Byrne plays the role of Moira in the X-Men movies but Rose has confirmed that she will not be back to play the character in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Byrne was recently talking about the possibility of appearing in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, when she confirmed, "Unfortunately, Moira is not showing up. I wish she was. I had such fun on X-Men: Apocalypse. I love that cast. It is a really fun, what do you call it? Superhero film… ensemble exactly. I can’t wait to see what [Jessica Chastain] does, cause I’m such a fan."

While we do love Rose Byrne, we have to admit that Moira was not exactly the most interesting character, so she is not really going to be a huge loss to the movie. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is set to hit the big screen on November 2 in both the US and the UK.
