Peter Dinklage reveals the best way to read a Game of Thrones script
HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones has become one of the biggest shows to ever hit the small screen, with the series not being afraid to kill off some big name characters, which leaves the others worried about whether they will live or die. Actor Peter Dinklage plays the role of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, and Peter has revealed the best way to read a new Game of Thrones script.
Dinklage features in the new issue of Time magazine, where he revealed, "Every season I go to the last page of the last episode and go backward. I don't do that with books, but I can't crack open page one of episode one not knowing if I'm dead or not. He covers it up with alcohol, he covers it up with humour, he does his best to maintain a modicum of sanity and he perseveres. He's still alive. Anyone who's still alive on our show is pretty smart."
As well as talking about his favourite way to read the new Game of Thrones scripts and how pleased he is that Tyrion Lannister is still alive, Peter Dinklage also went on to talk about his favourite types of books to read. Tyrion says that he does not usually go for the fantasy novels, stating that it is actually the section in the book shop which he avoids the most.
Lannister added, "That's the part of the bookstore I don't really gravitate toward. This was the first time in this genre that somebody my size was an actually multidimensional being, flesh and blood without the really long beard, without the pointy shoes, without the asexuality."
Game of Thrones season 7 will premiere on HBO on July 7 at 9pm.
