There have been a lot of movies based on books released over the past few years and it is fair to say that one of the biggest movie franchises to come from books is The Hunger Games. We have already seen two The Hunger Games movies released, which both proved very successful and we do not have too much longer to wait for the third instalment of the franchise.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 opens in around three months time and we have been getting plenty of promotional material for the movie. The latest promotional material is a number of new character posters for the film and we are very impressed with how simple, yet effective these posters are.

With a grey wall for a background, with the number 13 on it to represent the district, along with the name of the character, said character is then stood in front of the wall and under the writing. There is one of Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch, one of wheelchair bound Jeffrey Wright as Beetee, one of Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, one of Sam Claflin as Finnick, one of Elizabeth Banks as Effie, and one of Julianne Moore as President Coin.

Along with these very talented actors and actresses, we also see the return of the love triangle stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, and Liam Hemsworth as Gale. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will open on November 21 in both the US and the UK, with the movie franchise coming to an end with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 on November 20, 2015.
