Melissa Rauch and co. to start shooting new movie The Bronze this month

Actress Melissa Rauch has been in the acting industry for many years now but she is best known for playing the role of Bernadette in the hit CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory. This role has led to Melissa becoming a household name and has opened up many more doors for her, with a number of new roles coming her way over the past few years.

While we will continue to see Melissa Rauch in the role of Bernadette in The Big Bang Theory, she will also be seen on the big screen in some upcoming movie roles. One of those movie roles is in the film The Bronze, which not only sees Melissa in the lead role, but was also co-written by Rauch and her husband Winston Rauch.

The Bronze has been officially described as, "The story revolves around a former world-class gymnast who competed while injured and won a bronze medal. All of America falls in love with her. The glory has faded. She’s still living in that," by line producer and unit production manager Michael Cuddy.

The Bronze will be directed by Bryan Buckley, who has directed over 50 Superbowl commercials during his career. It has now been reported that The Bronze will begin shooting on June 29 in Amherst, Ohio, with filming running until July 26. While there is no official release date for the movie, as of yet, it has been suggested that The Bronze will hit the big screen sometime in 2015.

As for Melissa Rauch, she will continue in her role as Bernadette in The Big Bang Theory season 8, which will premiere on CBS later in the year.
