Lauren Cohan is not leaving The Walking Dead

Hollywood beauty Lauren Cohan has become one of the most popular actresses in the business, thanks to playing the role of Maggie in the hit AMC zombie series The Walking Dead, which has led to her seeing a huge growth in her fanbase around the world, making her one of the most sought after stars in Hollywood, with many movie makers wanting to work with her.

There have been a lot of rumours about the future of Lauren Cohan as Maggie in The Walking Dead, with the most recent rumour suggesting that she is going to quit the role when her contract is up at the end of this season. It is claimed that Lauren wants to be paid the same amount of money as her co-stars Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln but that the show execs are not willing to give her that big of a pay rise.

While this is probably all very true and the contract negotiations are still ongoing, we have no doubt that they will eventually come to some sort of arrangement, as the news that Lauren Cohan is not getting paid the same as the men on the show makes it look very bad for the AMC who would surely not want to be seen as being a part of the pay discrimination in Hollywood.

We are very confident that Lauren Cohan will still be playing Maggie for the next few seasons of the show, as we are sure that the contract negotiations will all get sorted in the near future. However, if we are wrong and they cannot come to an agreement, then it would not be too much of an issue for the show, as they could quite easily kill her off. We shall see.
