The career of Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart has certainly been an interesting one to date, with many people still seeing her as the average actress who starred in the Twilight movies, despite the fact that she has been in many other projects over the years. Kristen has been working hard to prove that there is much more to her than the Twilight movies and has actually put in some strong performances in her movies recently.

 

Next up for Kristen Stewart is the upcoming movie Clouds of Sils Maria, which will see her co-star with actress Juliette Binoche. With the movie doing the film festival rounds, Kristen Stewart and Juliette Binoche have been helping to promote Clouds of Sils Maria and recently appeared on the cover of the German Interview magazine.

 

The Cannes Film Festival officially describe the movie as "At the peak of her international career, Maria Enders is asked to perform in a revival of the play that made her famous twenty years ago. But back then she played the role of Sigrid, an alluring young girl who disarms and eventually drives her boss Helena to suicide. Now she is being asked to step into the other role, that of the older Helena. She departs with her assistant to rehearse in Sils Maria; a remote region of the Alps. A young Hollywood starlet with a penchant for scandal is to take on the role of Sigrid, and maria finds herself on the other side of the mirror, face to face with an ambiguously charming woman who is, in essence, an unsettling reflection of herself."

 

As well as starring Kristen Stewart and Juliette Binoche, the rest of the Clouds of Sils Maria cast includes the likes of Chloe Grace Moretz, Johnny Flynn, and Brady Corbet, among many others. Clouds of Sils Maria is directed by Olivier Assayas, who also penned the screenplay for the movie, which has been doing the film festival scene and will continue to do so for the rest of the year, while it is set to open in the UK on May 8, 2015.
