Kevin Hart to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the MCU?

It has been known for quite some time now, that Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman is going to step down in his role as Wolverine, following that impressive farewell scene to the character in the very emotional movie Logan. Since then though, things have changed and the future of the character has been getting quite a lot of attention, as you would very well expect.

With Disney now acquiring the rights to the X-Men characters, it is expected that it is only a matter of time before we see some of them appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Wolverine being the most likely to appear first. With that in mind, most fans are hoping that Hugh Jackman will be persuaded to return as Wolverine again, although there are some who would rather see a new actor taking over the role.

There have been a lot of top Hollywood names who have been linked to the possibility of taking over from Hugh Jackman in the role of Wolverine for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there is one which caught our eye more than most. Some have suggested that funnyman Kevin Hart could be the perfect actor to take the Wolverine character in a new direction and almost take away from the comparisons which are likely to happen.

There is no denying that Kevin Hart does have the right height for the comic book version of Wolverine, and that he also has the potential for the right build but, if people are going to get upset about an actor not being the right height for a comic book character, then there is no doubt that they would not accept an actor with a different skin colour.

It would definitely be a brave move from Disney and Marvel to cast Kevin Hart as Wolverine and we would love to see something like that happen but, unfortunately, we just cannot see them doing it.
