It was recently reported that the Divergent movie sequel Insurgent was preparing to begin shooting and most of the talk was about the films leading stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James. This was bound to be the case, not only because the two stars play the main characters in the film, but also because there are a lot of rumours going round about Shailene Woodley and Theo James dating.

However, there are plenty more stars from the Divergent movie who will be getting prepared to reprise their roles for the beginning of filming for Insurgent. One such star is the British actress Kate Winslet who plays the role of Jeanine in the big screen adaptations of the Veronica Roth novels. With shooting expected to begin any time now, all of the stars involved will be making sure they are good to go.

Insurgent will follow on where Divergent left off and we will once again follow Beatrice Prior as she bids to confront her inner demons, while continuing in her fight against the powerful alliance which has threatened to tear her society apart.

Things in Insurgent are going to be a little different from that of Divergent, as we have a new director taking to the helm. Divergent director Neil Burger confirmed a while back that he would not return to direct Insurgent and Robert Schwentke has been brought in to direct the sequel. Insurgent will begin shooting any time now, with a release date set for March 20, 2015 in the US. We are still awaiting word of an official release date for the UK.
