Kate Bosworth was recently on Chelsea Lately, and she spoke to Chelsea Handler about her fiance Michael Polish and how they first met.

 

Kate reveals she first met Michael while filming 'Big Sur', explaining, "We worked together on a movie called Big Sur. I fell in love with him as an artist. He's really one of the best directors I've ever worked with, and I realized I didn't want to spend a moment away from him. And that was a little bit different than most director relationships…and so that was it."

 

'Big Sur' is directed by Michael Polish, and in addition to Kate Bosworth, stars Stana Katic, Radha Mitchell, Josh Lucas, Henry Thomas, Anthony Edwards, Nora Kirkpatrick, Balthazar Getty, and Vanessa Ross. The official synopsis of 'Big Sur' [via IMDB] is, "A recounting of Jack Kerouac's (here known by the name of his fictional alter-ego Jack Duluoz) three sojourns to the cabin in Big Sur, owned by poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti."
