Actress Teresa Palmer is one of those Australian stars, who has been working in Hollywood for many years now and has enjoyed plenty of success along the way, becoming one of the most sought after actresses in the business. Teresa has been regularly linked to a role in the planned movie project Ride Like a Girl and many of her fans cannot wait to see her starting work on the new film.

We have no doubt at all that there are plenty of you who do already know what we can expect to see from the Ride Like a Girl movie, when it does finally get going but, for those of you who do want to know more, Ride Like a Girl will focus on the famous story of Michelle Payne, who became the first ever female jockey in the history of horse racing, to win the Melbourne Cup.

While Teresa Palmer is being lined up to play the lead role of Michelle Payne in Ride Like a Girl, the supporting cast will include the likes of Sam Neill and Jacki Weaver, among others. Meanwhile, Rachel Griffiths is in line to direct Ride Like a Girl, based on a script that has been developed by Andrew Knight and Elise McCredie, with the movie expected to go into production later this year.
