Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke went from a relative nobody to a household name around the world, thanks to her performances as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO fantasy drama series. This has led to her becoming a very in demand actress, with many people in Hollywood wanting to work with Emilia.

 

It has now been claimed that Emilia Clarke is being lined up to take on the roles of Sarah Connor in the planned Terminator reboot. There have been plenty of other names linked to the role, such as Brie Larson and Margot Robbie, but it is claimed that Emilia has the edge over these two.

 

The Terminator reboot has brought in Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor to helm the project, who has already worked with Emilia Clarke in the past. Alan directed a number of episodes of Game of Thrones during the first and second seasons, before going on to land the Thor sequel.

 

With a release date planned for July 1, 2015, it will not be long before production on the Terminator reboot will get underway, so we should expect to officially hear who has landed the role of Sarah Connor in the very near future.
