Celebrities tweet thoughts on American Idol final
A whole host of celebrities have taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal their thoughts on the season ten finale of American Idol. Twilight actress Ashley Geene tweeted, “Coachella has nothing on America Idol! Best performers ever! Lady GaGa, Tim McGraw, TLC , Beyonce , Bono , and @reevecarney rocked it!” before adding “Oh… And carrie underwood, Steven Tyler, Scott McCreery, and Lauren Alaina were Pretty amazing too!!”
Season 8 runner up Adam Lambert said, “Some amaaaazing performances at Idol tonight!!” he wrote, later adding, “Beyonce and Gaga’s performances were awesome!!! Oh and Steven Tyler!!! Hot!” Then later tweeted, “I met Jack Black!!! Such a fan!”
Scotty McCreery was the eventual winner of the, talent based, reality show and Kris Allen, who earlier tweeted “Can’t believe I just watched Bono and the Edge perform live. Uh….mazeb****!”, took time to congratulate McCreery. Again taking to Twitter he said, “Great time at the finale tonight. Congrats Scotty and the rest of the idols on starting their career tomorrow.”
