While the upcoming movie Syrup is not likely to threaten to win any major awards, it is still expected to be a fairly decent movie, given the talented young cast in the movie, including Amber Heard, Shiloh Fernandez and Brittany Snow. The new Syrup trailer has been released and it gives us a fair idea of what to expect from the movie.

Syrup is based on the Max Barry novel of the same name and centres around a young slacker named Scat (Shiloh Fernandez), who comes up with a great million dollar idea. However, in order to see hios idea through, he has to first learn to trust his highly attractive counterpart.

As well as starring Brittany Snow, Amber Heard and Shiloh Fernandez, Syrup also stars Kellan Lutz, Rachel Dratch and Josh Pais. Syrup is directed by Aram Michael Rappaport, based on the screenplay which he developed with Max Barry, who also wrote the novel of the same name. Syrup does not yet have an official release date but it is expected to open on limited release in the summer.
