So there is already a lot of talk and excitement surrounding the planned Suicide Squad movie, which really has been making good progress since it was announced that Warner Bros. and DC were bringing us the film. We have already been given the cast for the main characters in the movie and it now seems that we could be set to see another character making an appearance.
According to some recent rumours that have been doing the rounds, we could well see Ben Affleck making a cameo appearance in the Suicide Squad movie in his role as Batman, which has got fans very excited. According to the reports, Ben Affleck's Batman would appear in an end credit scene where he is after the escaped Joker, which will supposedly lead into the solo Batman movie.
If these rumours are to be believed, then that means that we will see Jared Leto's Joker being the main villain of the first Ben Affleck solo Batman movie, which could disappoint some fans. We have already seen The Joker quite recently, when Heath Ledger played the character in The Dark Knight, and many fans will surely be hoping to see some different Batman villains getting a chance on the big screen.
Back to the Suicide Squad movie though, which is also looking for a new actor to play Rick Flag, after actor Tom Hardy pulled out of the project. There have been some suggestions that we could see Jake Gyllenhaal replacing Tom Hardy as Rick Flag in Suicide Squad, although that has yet to be confirmed. Suicide Squad opens on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
