Alicia Vikander does not have her Oscar trophy

There are so many people who can only ever dream about winning an Oscar and we all imagine just how much time we would spend with the award, which would take pride of place in an important part of the family home. However, it seems that this is not the case for Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander, who has not seen her Oscar trophy since the night she actually won it.

Alicia Vikander, who won her Oscar for her appearance in the movie The Danish Girl, has been dating Michael Fassbender for three years now and the couple recently decided to move to the UK and set up home in London. Alicia has now explained how she decided to leave her Academy Award with a friend, while she and Michael moved house, ut she has yet to have it returned to her.

Vikander was recently talking to People magazine, when she shared with them, "I haven't seen him since that night! I very recently moved into my new place and, because I've been away working so much, I gave him to a friend in Los Angeles. [My friend's] daughter has been sending me photos to prove she's taking good care of him. I love my little updates from her!"

Once Alicia Vikander does finally get settled in her new London pad you would expect that she would have her Oscar trophy finally moving back in with her, but that does not seem to be the case, as it has been claimed that Alicia is actually thinking about having it sent back to her home town of Gothenburg, Sweden, rather than having it with her in London. Interesting choice!
