It is nice to see the occasional bit of sibling rivalry in the entertainment industry, which can certainly be said for the Skarsgard brothers, who are all actors in their own right. It is not surprising that the three brothers went into acting, considering their father is the actor Stellan Skarsgard and all three are doing their father proud.

Alexander Skarsgard is probably the most famous of the three acting Skarsgard brothers, thanks to his role as Eric Northman in the hit HBO vampire series True Blood. That show has placed Alexander in line for some top movie roles, with some even tipping him to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

Like his big brother Alexander, Gustaf Skarsgard has been doing the acting thing for many years now but he has only really became a recognisable household name recently. Gustaf plays the role of Floki in the hit History Channel scripted series Vikings, which was a huge success in its first season.

Then there is the younger brother Bill Skarsgard, who has also spent the past few years earning his acting stripes. Bill is probably best known for his role as Simon in the movie Simple Simon, although many of you may recognise him from his performances as Roman Godfrey in Hemlock Grove.

It would be very interesting to one day see the three brothers, along with father Stellan Skarsgard, appearing on the big screen together.
